Venice saturday 4/19 ?

We were in Venice on Saturday (to dive and see the shark tooth festival). We dove at Alhambra and the viz was decent (for Venice). MoteMan - where is Service Club Park? Is it down closer to the airport?

Service Club is on south harbor drive, directly across from the airport and next to the coast guard station.

Ok...that is before you get to Sharky's then. Is it a long walk from the car? We'll definitely give that place a try next time.

Does anyone know how the vis is now? and does the vis improve at high tide, which should be around noon Saturday? Does Florida West dive the same area or some place different? Is there a baot ramp nearby and would there be any advatage to diving from a boat instead of shore diving, other than the swim to and from shore? Thanks.

I tried Service Club again (first time in about 7 years) this past Saturday, I still don't care much for it. I'll likely try Alhambra this weekend for the first time since the artificial reef was put down.

Flying down from PA on Fri 4-18. Dove with FL West for teeth, but not from beach. Looking to go also. If you can find someone who knows where to go. Would like to join in if possible.
