Humann/DeLoach describes this nudi as a Gold-Fringed Nudibranch - Cerberilla cf. tanna. Nudipixel does not list this species; Sea Slug Forum shows a tan version of a very similar nudi. You might consider submitting to Nudi Pixel as I did not see anything like this one in their database. Great photos! Approximately how big was it?

I got some photos of the same nudi back in February. Nice photos! I tentatively identified it as Flabellina verta - submitted my photo to Nudi Pixel, but have not received verification as yet.

Not so sure it will matter. Noticed more than one group of divers carrying Tupperware yesterday. . .

Kevin

Oh no! Say it ain't so! I'll pray to the sea gods may their masks always be foggy, may their o-rings always blow ... (or at least send a bunch of students their way) :praying:

Here is Baby Daddy yesterday courtesy of Fisheye and my blurry photo from March 8, exactly a month ago. His belly is definitely distended in both but it hasn't changed much.

I'll check for him tomorrow. He sure is carrying things a long time:rofl3:

I'll be there tomorrow too. Don't know if I'll have time for Baby Daddy. I plan to spend at least 1000 psi in another area I've heard is seahorse stomping ground. But I'll see you in the parking lot!

All this talk of octopi ... I dreamed last night I was so engrossed in watching one I sucked my tank dry. I was under for 2 hours 53 minutes.

Thanks.

Mine was approx. 3/4" at full extension and probably 1/4" wide. I was on it for 40 minutes waiting for someone to come by so I could pass it on... No one showed. I could see the bridge pylons from where I was located... 10-15' south of the bridge

I'm trying to confirm about a four degree error in my temperature readings
on my computer. After subtracting four degrees I came up with 77F on saturday
at 16 ft. near the outside of the channel pilings. On sunday after subtracting four
degrees I came up with 79F at 12 ft. just south of the bridge pilings almost to the wall.
Sound about right ?
