I would like an idea of the current water temperature around Turks and Caicos. I am going on a LOB trip on Dec. 10, and I have an idea of the expected water temps. However, I would like to know if the expected water temps are close to the current water temps.

Feedback would be highly appreciated :D

The water temp' at this time of year is dropping, by mid December it would probably be in the mid 70's down from the mid 80's in August and September.

We just got back from the Bahamas (Nassau). water temp was 79F (though there were definitely cooler spots as we were swimming) off the SW part.

T&C is at the southern end of the Bahamas chain.

2 more weeks to go before my LOB trip. Hopefully, water temps hold on to around 75-deg. to 79-deg. That's be great!

I'm here diving on Grand Turk at the moment and most divers are wearing full 3mils and seem to be comfortable. Although personally, my toes get a bit cold :)

Thank you for the feedback. Just curious: Are you on a LOB trip or just shore-based diving? Anyone wearing hoods?

I actually just moved to the island and am working here - so shore based diving. The water today was about 78f. First dive I was just fine but got cold by the end of the second. No hoods...yet.

I just got back on 12/3. 81 at depth. Most wore shorties, no full suits, I wore bathing suit and short sleeve rash guard and was fine, but I'm a bit warm blooded.
