How to spend the day in Makassar?

If you are staying at the Hotel Aryaduta then hopefully it will be their Brazilian BBQ night. It was totally worth the price. They had so many tasty dishes it was fantastic. We spent our day there just walking down by the waterfront. Have fun!

I love good BBQ, Jake; but we'll be at tha Aryaduta on monday since our LOB sails on tuesday. Their website shows Brazilian BBQ on saturday and international buffet on friday-looks like we'll be ordering a la carte.

Oh.. bummer!!! Would have been great if it was the BBQ night. It is a very nice hotel! They upgraded us for free to one of the nicer rooms on one of the top floors! Have a great time!

This past winter my roommate on the Damai spent a day there. She found a used clothing shop in one of the shopping centers where she found some original old Chanel and other designer dresses that fit her perfectly. And CHEAP!! These were originals, not knockoffs.
