Congratulations on your certification!!! January is definitely a tough time to get Cert'd up there. Especially with the cold snap we just had, that water had to be extra chilly. Hope you did it dry.

@LowDrag...yes it was in DrySuit...is there another way to go? ;-)

@TSandM....yes I plan on doing lots of local dives and will be joining in on some of the local NWDives.....I most likely will be doing them when we get back from our Thailand trip. As between now and than we are booked up solid....once we are back I am going to be hitting the local club dives very often :)

Way to go! Have fun with it. Lifechanging.

Totally stoked and have been bitten by the diving bug! Just passed OW here in the Seattle area.

Can't wait to dive more and more and more! :)

Congratulations man! I don't know what you did your OW dives in but I strongly recommend you at least try diving in a drysuit. I'm from southern California and have been diving in my 7mm for 3 years. This past Christmas I invested in a drysuit (Whites Bullet) and it makes diving so much more enjoyable! If you already dive dry, then enriched air or a specialty is a great way to stay hooked! Happy safe diving!!!

@tphelps. I did dry suit cert along with open water cert. did the dives in a whites. :). My wife and I are heading to Thailand in less than a month and when I get back I will be getting gear. One of which will be a whites dry suit. :)
