A Trump Election and Peso Exchange Rates

Just took a break from watching election returns, after Florida and North Carolina was called for Trump, Trump is holding on to leads in Michigan and Wisconsin, and Clinton's lead in Pennsylvania is shrinking as larger than expected returns are coming in from rural Pennsylvania counties and going heavily for Trump. Checked Peso exchange rates on Bloomberg, and, as FiveThirtyEight updates its projection to give Trump a 78% chance of winning, the Peso is taking a HUGE beating - now at 20.5198 Pesos to the U.S. Dollar.

But, on the good side, it looks like he's making a vacation in Cozumel cheaper for American tourists.

Google is quoting 20.72 Pesos to the USD at the moment. I don't know their sources.

if peso goes down airfare will go up as everyone tries to get the "cheap" vacation, so if you already have vacation planned, you are going to benefit, but, otherwise, not so much of a deal.
