I'm interested in tips with this setup as well.
The only tip I can offer (probably common sense) is ensuring the TG-4 being placed in the PT-056 case is thoroughly dry.
I didn't carefully dry my tg-4 after snorkeling (missed water underneath the lens ring) and when I put it inside the pt-056 the moisture was enough to overwhelm the desiccant packet apparently and the pt-056 case lens fogged and pictures suffered...
