I recently discovered that there is a live streaming video web cam at Turtle Reef, Macabuca, and Cracked Conch so I am posting the link here in case anyone else is interested.

They have had some rough weather recently and Macabuca was closed and the waves were crashing up around it! I read that 2 cruise ships were unable to anchor in Georgetown Harbor earlier this week because of weather.

Macabuca is open again and the weather and water look much better, but it is still kind of rough. This may not be the best area to snorkel and shore dive today. I don't know if Sundivers is open today - but I still wish that I was there!

We did some snorkelling there a few years back - nice spot, we saw turtles and eagle rays on the sand flats.

We usually head there for our first dives after we get to the Caymans. It is a nice easy dive with great sealife and a good place to check out our gear. And the cracked conch appetizer is great!

+1 for Sundivers at Turtle Reef. Olin Miller runs a good operation on site.
Great reef in both directions and as a night dive.

Turtle Reef / Sundivers is always one of our top shore dives. Lighthouse Point just south of it run by DiveTech is good, too, but with Macabuca being right there Trtler Reef takes the prize!

I just found out about the webcam this AM on TA. I can see that it could be a problem- staring forlornly at the live cam when I should be working......! Fortunately, I haven't gotten it to work yet on the iPad... still working on that...
