Calling all guru's:

I've got a D400 that probably needs a bit of TLC.
There're 2 different service kits available to me: one with a white poppet cap, and one with a black poppet cap.
The question is: are there any differences between the 2, and if there are, which is the better one?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Axxel, how z'it doing?

Man, I'm fine, just a lot of work, can't take days off.

Haven't seen you quite a while on the board.

I have never seen the white poppet and cap. If it is an original SP kit, seems they have a new supplier.

Black used to be the standard for the last ten years.

If both are SP kits, I guess there is no difference in quality.

If you are not sure, I would go for the black poppet.

In November I'm in Europe, if you need parts, for example just D400 LP seats, screws or o-rings, let me know in time.

Thanks Axxel for confirming "... Black used to be the standard for the last ten years..."
I'll pm you in time for the parts if I need them.
