Hi,
I'm looking for a dive shop staying at Atlantis resort. Can you guys give me some recommendation? Also, know any good spot for snorkeling?

There's two boat dive operations on the island. Bahama Divers is 10mins. away just across the bridge to Paradise Island. Stuart Cove's is about 45mins. on the south side. Both offer free shuttles. Coves is the shark dive people and they also run a snorkel boat. There was a 3rd dive operation that I believe started up fairly recently doing shore dives but I lost the link. You might check with Bahamas Government Portal - Welcome to Bahamas Diving for more info.

For snorkeling one option is at your resort. Snorkel the Ruins of Atlantis | Dolphin Cay | Atlantis Bahamas
Another is Ocean Atlas which I guess they dive also. Coral Reef Sculpture Garden
Apparently there's some sort of snorkeling at Caves Beach also - it looks OK but I've never been there: BREEF Members Snorkel Event

I'm pretty sure this list are all boat accessible locations only - most several miles offshore: Nassau Snorkeling Locations | Bahamas Snorkeling Tours It's actually a commercial tour operators website but has some good info. Some snorkel boat trips leave from the Paradise Island marinas.

Thanks! I'll look into it.

Is Bahama Divers in Nassau still operating? Their Facebook page and web page are gone!
