Spec sheet. http://www.light-catcher.com.cn/ProductFiles/B10R001.pdf

From your photo I'd say this a Solarc bulb/ballast. Not sure where you saw the 2.05" spec but the specs in the PDF are in line with what I see. I have a few spares and can upload a photo against a ruler for your confirmation if you like.

Note that the parabolic, sealed bulbs come in two degrees of light spread (I believe 6* vs 13*) which allows you to tailor the bulb a bit for function. Wider 13* cast for cave/clear water, narrow 6* cast for lakes/turbid water.

While I am a fan of these units, I've had my share of the bulbs burning out as they are very fragile during the first few minutes that they are turned on and again while they are cooling down after shutoff. Once I learned to treat the heads gently during these times I haven't had too many burnouts.

The bulbs all work with the ballast in 14W and 10W mode but in 14W mode the spec says there is a corresponding drop in expected bulb life time.

Oh yes. An unexpected bonus is the new ballasts are easier on the batteries so you actually get a bit more life from a battery charge with the 10W/14W than with the older metal 10W ballasts.
