Last weekend a dive buddy said his trip to the Bahamas was canceled because the motel he had booked was destroyed during the hurricane. I believe he said it the Orange Hill Inn, which is in Stuart's Cove low-end, budget package. I was considering a quick trip down to Nassau this December, but am a little concerned about damage both on land and to the reefs. Anyone have first-hand knowledge about the situation?

Edit: Sorry, I just noticed the previous thread about damage on Nassau. They didn't mention any significant damage on New Providence, so I'm wondering if my dive buddy's info about the motel being damaged is correct.
