Recommendations for day trips from Havana

Hi all,

I'm heading down to Havana in January with my family (so a live aboard is not an option). I will have 1 or 2 days to dive. Can anyone share any info about what are the best sites/operators to use for day trips out of Havana?

If you're a Hemingway fan, hire a taxi to take you to Finca Vigia, Hemingway's house. Not really a "day trip," but something to do.

There is diving east of Havana, out of the Hemingway Marina. You could also book a trip (might be a day trip available) further east to better diving in Playa Giron (Bay of Pigs).
