Can you elaborate as to how this can be damaging?

This particular shop has been around since 1966.

I would've gladly paid full price for a floor model tank boot. Kinda funny after I got back to work with the tank boot I noticed it's for a rounded bottom tank and mine is flat. So now I have to go back tomorrow to swap it out. Should have looked while I was still there.

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with my LDS and asked if my tank boot was in. I was put on hold while they checked. A different person picked up the phone (the owner I think) and told me that it was not ordered, it's been 3 weeks at this point. He did apologize and offered me a tank boot...

Are prescription goggles an option for you? If possible it seems like that would be a better option since contacts can fall out. If you get your masked knocked off and a contact falls out that would suck. If you can do a prescription mask I've heard of people somehow connecting it so if it...

When I did my OW check out dives one of our instructors had a pee valve. The tube was too long and would kink easily. So she cut it and reattached it only to have the tube detach and her left leg was filled with pee. :rofl3:

Anyone dive with suspenders for your weights? I always have a heck of a time with my weight belt sliding around and falling down so I thought these might help.

I'd say a custom made wetsuit would be in order. From my understanding they can be fairly comparable in price to a good off the rack wetsuit.

Has anyone done the PADI Specialty Ice Diving Course? If so I'd like to know about your experience. What you felt is needed to be adequately prepared for the course. Likes/dislikes? Where you went? And whatever else you think is worth noting. :popcorn:

Hell I'll babysit for you for half of what you would normally pay your babysitter. I have nothing useful to add to this conversation except to say have everything in writing prior to the trip. In addition to the babysitter abiding to the contract you must as well.
