No need to wait to go to them. I had them send a demo unit out to me to try for about a week. Ask them about it (Cave Adventurers).

DAN can get you a list of doctors that are in your area. My insurance did not cover the visit because it was not considered medically necessary. But I am thinking it was less than $100.

All I can offer is to call DAN and get to a dive medicine doctor for an opinion. When I had to go to a dive doctor he actually called around to other doctors as well. And as I was told it is also about risk tolerance. Nothing is guaranteed.

FINCLIP - The easiest way to don/doff your fins I would pass. You will find other things to spend your money on if you are just getting into diving. I also mostly beach dive where spring straps work just fine and the FinClips would be useless for me. But it you have spare money and can wait...

Or just give it more time. I use a battery backpack instead of the LCD. After some practice I do not find it very hard to line up shots at all. Holding steady with surge is a bigger problem for me.

If they do them in house that does sound long. But possibly the guy that does the hydro's only shows up once a month? Call them and ask why. It would be better/quicker than people on the internet guessing why.
