Went out from the beach last week in Lauderdale by the sea and before swimming out ran into two manatee's that hung around us while gearing up. There were a couple swimmers and the girl saw the shape and practically climbed on top of her boyfriend when she first saw it.

How do they recommend servicing this o ring? Is it something that would not need regular maintenance, unlike the housing door one? Sorry to hear about it and hope you have some insurance to cover it.

Hi Mantababe, When you finish diving do you soak the housing in fresh water for an extended time. I'll usually fill a basin with warm water and let it soak for an hour or so and disassemble tray and arms to soak and then dry it out overnight before packing it in the camera bag. In any case...

That's interesting that it is that easy to cause the housing to flood. Wonder if the Fix housing that is similar to Recsea, but uses a different locking mechanism has any of these issues. Maybe someone with one can respond?

Doesn't the Panasonic lx5 have same 24mm lens and 5x zoom ratio? Obviously, there are fewer fisheye lens choices in that one. The Nauticam set up seems to be highly rated by Reef Photo. Personally, spending nearly a grand for the h100 and dome verses $400 for uwl-04 made my choice easier...
