Yeah, I tried twin 10,000s once......they dug twin furrows in the sea bed about 20' behind me.......trimix fills were a bitch but not as bad as the crane rentals to lift me up and drop me in the water, my wing with 1000 lbs of lift was pretty goofy looking too :-)

Putting backer rod or foam inside the 'air cavity' within the body won't do anything. Any bouyancy addition would have to be added to the outside to work.
I don't where you are in BC but IDC in Vancouver has this Fantasea special on.. Gives you room to add arms strobe and a video light. I suggest a video light to give you more options as the situation dictates
