What's you fav after dive food ???

An Italian hotdog of course... Chock full of potatoes and bacon bits laid beautifully on top of a Sabrett - the roll is just a vehicle on which to place this mighty meal! Lest I forget...the beverage to put an end to my parched throat; an ice cold beer (or 2 or 3 or 4)!! Whatever the...

    ?'s on first dives

Hi Scuba Sass, Just wanted to throw in my two cents worth that you are going to fall in love with warm water diving. I too learned to dive here in the North East (NJ). It is okay, but I sure do love leaving the 7mm wetsuit, hood and gloves at home and only packing my 3 mm wetsuit and...

    Joke

Hmmm, my joke got changed a little. I guess you're not allowed to use "bad" words on the board. The joke didn't seem as funny using "rear end" instead of the word "a**" Sorry about that!

    Dutch Spring, PA

Hi Mike, I have been diving at Dutch for the past two years and our dive group really loves going there between vacations. We enjoy doing the "wall" dive there the most. The vis all summer for us was between 20 and 40'. We have pretty much done all the attractions and although we...

Key Largo - HMS Minnow is the way to go!

Hi Bob, The visability on the Duane the day we went was really good - probably 40 to 50'. The current was definitely ripping! We looked like flags blowing in the wind during our safety stop. The current on the wreck itself wasn't too bad. We were a bit bummed because Captain Jeff said...

Key Largo - HMS Minnow is the way to go!

Hi Stone, I do not know off hand if Captain Jeff would do that, but his website is www.hmsminnow.com. Enjoy your vacation! PS) If you've never been to the Duane and you're interested in an awesome wreck dive, look into Jeff taking you out there - you won't be disappointed!

Key Largo - HMS Minnow is the way to go!

No, the HMS Minnow departs from the Marina by the Holiday Inn and Coconuts bar. We stayed at the Holiday Inn and just had a short little walk to the boat each morning. Jeff stored our dive gear overnight for us.

Key Largo - HMS Minnow is the way to go!

This is just an FYI to anyone who might be interested in diving Key Largo and might be looking for a tip with who to dive with. We dove three days with Captain Jeff on his HMS Minnow. I have never met a captain/owner who cared more about pleasing his customers. We went out toward Molassas...

New Jersey Diving - Can Someone Explain it to Me??

Whoa big fellow - my intention was not to "whine and complain" about NJ diving; I was merely asking why NJ diving was so different than other areas of the country. Thanks to the many wonderful and supportive responses I received, I now have a better understanding of diving in NJ. So much so...
