    Does anyone wear a watch?

Casio Pathfinder(s) for most working dives, in all conditions, and beyond recreational depths without any problems, and usually a Citizen aqualand on vacation.

    Attention D6i owners

Thanks for the reply, I don't have any issues with being in gauge mode, as sometimes that's exactly what I need.

    Attention D6i owners

I recently suffered a loss, my Oceanic VTPro was lost in Cozumel. Which brings me here to ask your help. My wife said that I should replace it for my birthday, and my LDS will make me a screaming deal on a D6i with transmitter ( don't ask, because I can't say how much, you know that whole...

From Plane to Water - Am I giving myself enough time?

I have actually flown into the dive site once, and was in the water in 15 minutes of hitting the deck... but that's a whole different story. No problem flying then diving, it's the return that causes trouble.

I don't know if this is quick release, but it looks similar...Stainless Steel buckles for the Golem Gear G2 harness.

    Aqua-Lung Caravelle

They aren't too bad, but they will show wear pretty fast. I like the Aqualung "Blades" (not 2 version) better. They don't show wear as badly and work better. I usually use Jets or Hollis F1's (depending on boots) but have recently had to try some other fins due to an ankle injury. They do have...

Sorry, but I have to brag to people who will understand

Rock on DUDE, I've been trying to get my six year old grand daughter to use a snorkel. KEEP IT UP, great job.

what do you suggest for a mask

With a mask fit is more important than name. I normally a full face at work, but I have the same problem as the OP. Try alot of different makes and manufacturers. I have found that Mares fit a large nose well, and Tilos makes an inexpensive split lense mask that fits a big nose and prominent...

    Mask fit with a mustache

NOOOOOO! don't shave it off. Don't worry, just trim the very top, right where the bottom of the nose touches the 'stache, and you should be good to go. I like my Mares Liquidskin, it doesn't leak too much.

    Aqualung Supreme "specially adjusted"

I reread your post and realized what you were asking... Yes, you can tune it to the higher IP, you can't tell the difference.

    Aqualung Supreme "specially adjusted"

Yes, you can adjust it to a lower IP, but you don't have the additional enviro seal. I can't tell any difference between my Conshelfs and my Conshelf Supreme, but I like my Supreme better. Most of my diving is 35' or less and visibility measured in inches not feet. So I feel like it's giving...

    Aqualung Supreme "specially adjusted"

Basically, yes. Air flow is decreased, and doesn't get as cold. I don't have my manuals in front of me, they are in the dive locker at work, but I believe a Conshelf is set about 10-15 psi (1 bar) higher than a Conshelf Supreme. Then you have the enviro seal that keeps everything away from...

Stenciling my fins and other items

Silver Sharpie for dark items, Black Sharpie for the rest. Copy the s/n of your regs and leave it somewhere safe yet accessible, in case of discrepancy.

    Regulator Service?

Thanks Herman, Bryan has already received plenty of my cash. I was only trying to point out that there is almost always a Low tech alternative. I have actually machined some of my own tools, especially for the Royal.

    Regulator Service?

I learned to dive in the 70's and married into the US Divers/ Aqualung line. So, right or wrong I have stuck with them. In doing so, I have become very familiar (comfortable) with them, and feel that I can maintain my Conshelfs and Royal aqua master better than the average tank monkey working...

Gear questions- looking forward to tech

Not to hijack, but for PSD work an analog gauge with a clearly visible, glow in the dark needle works best for me, in zero viz. You light it up, put it against your mask and find the needle and it's orientation. You probably can't read the numbers, but should have a good idea where your pressure...

    Conshelf DIN adapter?

That helps alot, and I see exactly what you are saying about the PRAM. This is a one way street, no going back after you start. With that, most of the guys at work claim that I'm related to Hernan Cortes (the spanish explorer) anyway. I appreciate the pics.
