So, going on close to a year, I have really enjoyed the changeover. I'm still adapting to SDI v PADI, but there are pros and cons to each. Mike Dunst has moved to Florida full time to go play in big dark holes in the ground. I am still teaching and getting ready for winter diving.

I started with lithiums until I saw Sea and Sea says don't use lithiums. How many dives can you typically get off a charge. I know how much you shoot plays a role in that too.

Looking for suggestions on what rechargables to use in a pair of Sea and Sea strobes. Thanks

Found out last night Adventure Scuba in Plano was hit first and then Frisco Scuba was burgled (since people want to be pedantic about it). Targeted Scuba Pro and Tusa BC's.

Scuba Frisco got robbed Thursday night (Jan 31). The absolutely cleaned out the BC's. They came in with trash cans and it really looked like that was the full intent. No idea on brand. The video doesn't show much beyond what I described. You do get to see about half of one guy's face. White male.

Partnership to create largest artificial reef in Texas Six miles out is pretty accessible, but how often will the water be reasonably clear? Port O'Connor can get some good water late in the summer. I'm happy to see the efforts being made.

I didn't think Jakarta was that bad. Confusing maybe, but not all that bad. Now taxi rides to the hotel and back to the airport on the overnight layover....once in a lifetime experience. :shocked:
