Is it ok to surface halfway through a a dive then continue the dive as if u never surfaced? Ive got about 25 dives. I could not find a sunken speed boat not to long ago and wasn't sure if its ok to surface and figure out where I was then continue dive. I was around 60 feet.

As i got to around 65 ft i felt a sharp pain in my jaw. I ascended around 5 feet and it went away. Is this some sort of squeeze?

Ok this may be a dumb question but oh well. When using nitrox does it accually allow you to stay down longer or will your dive times be similar to a normal air fill and just have shorter surface intervals? I dont know if if that question makes sense...

So the tanks you see with the nitrox stickers can they be used for regular air and nitrox or just nitrox?

Do you have to buy Nitrox tanks? Can you use a normal scuba tank? Im planning on doing the enriched air certification and was just curious.

Dove the junk for the first time yesterday. Then dove along the top of some trench at around 75 ft. Only my 10th dive so i'm still learning but was a lot of fun. Saw a lot of big fish in and around the junk. Striper maybe? Thats what i thought they looked like. And a few catfish around leddges.
