I am at my wits end with sealife products

Well, there isn't anything you guys will do except give me $ 100 back if I buy a new camera which I am not about to do until you make the inner camera water resistant. I already contacted Sealife about it. When you make the inner camera water resistant, I will buy another sealife camera. Until...

I am at my wits end with sealife products

I called Sealife this morning. My only option is to buy the Dc1400 then send in my dc1000 and get $100 rebate in about 8 weeks. Not really what I wanted to hear as I love the Dc1000. Who has the dc1400 and how is it? I'm just afraid of flooding yet another one.

I am at my wits end with sealife products

I take very good care of my equipment. The first time was my fault as I did not know there was a certain way of closing the housing. The video light apparently had a small hair that got into the cap which I did not see. I checked it several times before using it and the sealife repair guy...

I am at my wits end with sealife products

The last time I called Sealife for my flooded brand new video light, the lady that I spoke with kinda blew me off. Since I had sent in two prior cameras, she didn't want to help me and wanted me to pay for a brand new one. She wasn't going to replace it. So I don't think Sealife will help me...

I am at my wits end with sealife products

I wish sealife would just make the internal camera watertight.. It's a simple fix but they just won't do it. I guess they make more money that way so you buy their newer products.

Sealife DC 1000, Strobe, Video light and extras

Would you sell just the camera? I flooded mine today. If so, can you email me at caspid@aol.com? I rarely check these boards anymore.

I am at my wits end with sealife products

I must be the king of flooding Sealife equipment. I've about had it with their products. Today I did a beach dive and after 1.5 years of no problems with my dc1000, it flooded about a 1/4 inch, instantly killing the camera. I've flooded a brand new video light and this is the 3rd camera. I...

    Sealife DC1000 , just camera

Well, I managed to flood a 3rd sealife camera today. At least this one lasted me over a year with no problems. I've about had it with buying anything new from Sealife since they refuse to make their equipment water resistant. About a 1/4 inch of water got into the housing on a beach dive today...

Going to Hawaii to dive for first time.. Looking for advice on resorts/dive charters

I looked into the Sheraton Waikiki and it's way over my price range. It's like $ 400 a night. Can't do that. I need something in the $200 A night range.

Going to Hawaii to dive for first time.. Looking for advice on resorts/dive charters

My wife and I are taking our first trip to Hawaii. I was thinking of going to Oahu. I have no clue where to stay. I'm looking for moderately priced rooms from $ 150-$250 a night on the ocean. I'd really like to stay someplace where there is decent snorkeling on the beach. We are also looking...

My dive pics from Key largo

Dmurrell61, the Dc1200 isn't as good a camera as the dc1000, it takes longer to focus so you really have to set up the shot before snapping it. Make sure you have a flash strobe, that makes all the difference and get your shots within 3 feet of the subject. Try to get the entire subject in...
