    Curves and Wetsuits

I'll chime in on this one. One of the reasons that I got a custom wetsuit was because of the problems I was having getting a suit that fit top-side. All of the rack suits that I tried on crushed me and actually made it difficult for me to breathe. I got my custom wetsuit from Liquid Fit...

Wetsuit for the Pot Belly Diver

You should consider something with a stretch in it, like the Henderson Hyperstretch. At you height and weight, you should be able to get a nice off the rack suit. I wouldn't recommend a suit made from rubatex, as that material is very stiff. SWT

    Bonne Terre Newbie

Welcome to the board. One of my favorite places to dive is the Bonne Terre dive. It should be on ever divers list of places to dive.

    Banana drama

I have a friend who will throw your bananna overboard should you bring one on his vessel. How funny it is to read the superstitions behind this. I'll be bringing an orange for my lunch!!

    Exposure suit that fits

If you want a suit that really, really fits you the way it should, contact LiquidFit.Com ~ Wetsuits That Fit Like They Were Poured On You. I experienced much the same problems as you. I'm your typical size 14, but try to find a wetsuit!! I think that they think that all female divers are a...

    Bahamas in December?

It can get pretty cold in December. Pack a 3mm with maybe a vest. Also a hood or beanie. Be sure to pack some warm after diving wear.

    Hello from a NE diver!

Hi Matt, welcome to the board. I just love diving in Puerto Rico. We stayed on the island of Vesquez (sp) in a rented house for 10 days. Wow did we ever have a fun time. Sorry, I don't own any Scuba Pro equipment. SWT

    Amy Slate's Amoray Dive Resort

I would have to say that there are far better operators in Key Largo. I would suggest Silent World or Quiescence. Check with both of the places as they usually have a deal going with one of the local motels.

Full suit sizing (if you're short)

Well save yourself the hassle of shipping and overinflated prices by simply visiting your local cobbler. Our guy has replaced knee pads, replaced or installed zippers (using YKK zippers), and done a multitude of alterations for our dive club. Hope that this helps everyone. SWT

Full suit sizing (if you're short)

Have you checked out the increase in UPS!!! If you sent your suit off to have something so very minor done, you would pay a forture in shipping cost. You should be able to have something done locally. Dive right gave excellant advise. SWT

    Wetsuit for big guy

waterman, can you explain something to me.......how can the same suit fit a person that is 5'10" then fit a person 6"1". Does the 5'10" person have three inchess too much length or does the 6'1" have three inces too short?? My brother is 6'1" and the majority of his height is in his torso...

    Wetsuit for big guy

What waterman stated is an absolute myth. My custom wetsuit was less than most top rated rack suits. It wasn't a hassle to order and the suit was in my hands in less than a week. A friend of mine tried and tried to get a rack suit that would fit him. The LDS kept ordering one size after...

    At 165cm (5'5") I'm hardly eXtra-small

Oh David, David, David, I really do wish you the very best!! Any custom wetsuit maker should be able to do a horizontal zipped suit. Was there a problem. Did you look at the last two makers that I recommended?

    At 165cm (5'5") I'm hardly eXtra-small

David, why I'm razzing you so much is that you seem to focus in on some of the strangest things. I've never, ever, ever heard anyone complain about the last time a company updated their website. In defense for Aqua flite, how many ways can the tell you how to measure for their custom...

    At 165cm (5'5") I'm hardly eXtra-small

The nice thing about a custom is that you can usually get them to do whatever you want. A friend of mine just had to have a Henderson custom wetsuit. Well, her suit cost almost double what my Liquid Fit suit did and we had exactly the same material. The only difference was that she had this...
