Divers charged $20 each to go to Mary's Place

My wife and I stayed at Henry Morgans October 29-Nov 4th and our dive club dove with the on site shop TGI. I have nothing but good things to say about their operation. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we had moderate westerly winds. They bussed us to the boat docked just west of the airport and dove 8...

Anyone done Shark Diving in Roatan?

My wife and I just did this dive on November 4th. We both felt it was well worth the $100 each. Like other posters mentioned, dont underestimate the surface current. It is a backroll entry and then absolutely following the downline to the site and then back to the ladder at the end. We found...

    Roatan November 2011

My wife and I stayed at the Henry Morgan October 30-Nov 5. Dove with TGI. Very nice operation. One VERY rainy day (still got 3 dives in) and 6 very nice days. We did the shark dive and were quite pleasantly surprised with the number and size of the sharks and other fish there. Enjoy.

Diver death in Japan 2 weeks ago

I dove there in September with my wife. It's very nice but is certainly beginner skill level safe. I haven't found any follow up on the report either and would be interested in finding out the cause.

    Zamami / Okinawa Dive Report

Thanks. We will be staying at my son's apartment but maybe take a 2 or 3 day trip to Zamami. I am seeing from japan-diver that they will be limiting daily dives there. I will have to see how that works out.

    Zamami / Okinawa Dive Report

Thank you. I guess that I should book my dive dates well in advance. I would hate to be eliminated because of the diver limits.

    Zamami / Okinawa Dive Report

Thanks Tat2 Diver. It will be our first trip to anywhere in Asia. I will speak to my son about his certification options in the mean time. The Emmons is about 135 feet to the sand right? We've been that deep a few times on some rather short dives with singles. Is that how you do it there...

    Zamami / Okinawa Dive Report

That's a great report and video. My wife and I just booked today to spend about 10 days in Okinawa in August 2010. My son is stationed there. We are just now researching dive opportunities while we are there and this post is a great start. We are back from a week in Cozumel now for 2 weeks...

    Stings

Hey John. My left hand was just a little rashed up until 9 days out of the water. Then over this past weekend, Deb's and my left backhand and wrist got nasty and itchy. Doesn't seem to bother the palms. I attribute it to the few times that we were waiting on the DM's to show a specimen to...

    My first trip to Cozumel

The best dives in my mind in order: Punta Sur-Devils Throat. Thrilling with the dive throughs. Santa Rosa Wall. Tunnels, huge green morey and coral heads. Punta Tunich. Tons of big animals, very passive. Did this twice. Columbia Reef. Large Coral Towers and swim throughs. Paraiso...

    My first trip to Cozumel

Hey John. Enjoyed reading your "Coz" account and looking at the pics. We should have had a VW race there. But your Dragon Wagon was awsome. Slow but awesome. Ed
