I've already replaced the battery. it scrolls through the display and then turns off, it will not go into surface mode. I know its an old unit but I really can't afford to by a new one.

Anyone find an answer to this problem? I'm having the same issue with my Sherwood Source (same unit different name).

I have an original Source Computer with a date of 1990 on it. It has never had the battery replaced. Do I need to send it in to replace the battery or can I do it myself? If sent in what else beside replacing the battery is done to the unit? Thanks Mike
