Dive hut is in a great spot for hitting the pavement at night, ie it's right in town. While there is diving to be had there, it's not generally where people dive. Boat traffic, condition of reef, what have you. The diving up near CC is fantastic. Great location for access to the northern sites...

I'm also curious about where to get some laundry done, especially with solid guarantees of time frame. In Bonaire for 10 days, then over to Curacao for 3 days. Would maybe like to get some clean laundry after 10.

diverjen did raise a good point about doing the east coast via boat. That in my opinion was worth doing. While the boat dive to the park is a good option, don't discount spending a day exploring the park in a vehicle, and doing a couple dives as part of that. Also a good way to go.

I would not pre-pay for boat dives. It's easy enough to sign up once you get there, only do it if the boat is going somewhere you can't drive to, IE Klein. However you may find that you don't have any interest spending the time getting on and off a boat, waiting for everyone else etc. I could...

I was actually looking into some guided east coast dives for a big trip coming up in march, but all the guides I found charge a rate per person, per dive. For our group that would have been way too expensive per-dive. Just doesn't add up. If anyone knows of a guide that will work a group price...

Being able to walk to town is nice, especially if you want to drink etc. That said, it's still a pretty small place. Even staying down in Punt Vierkant (yeah I know I got that wrong) it's only a 5 minute drive to town.
