Humber Bay is just outside of the port in Toronto so no need to sign waivers for the port authority. I believe there are a couple of charters near Oakville/Burlington. Most places are usually about an hour away... I'm sure others may have some ideas as well...

I think that's about it unless you go really far out, at that point you probably need a boat.

There's three others I would recommend. Dive Source (out in Oshawa so not far from Pickering and you dont have to fight traffic going in and out of the city), Aquarius is at Dundas west of Jane and Scuba2000 at HWY 7 and Leslie...

Divesource out in Oshawa is fairly close, may 20 minutes away. Great shop IMO...

The closest I know of is in Goa - but thats pretty far from Mumbai...

Just came back from there - got back Sunday the 10th of Feb. They are both at the same location, Island Vinnies is the resort and dive india the dive operators. Very nice resort (recommend the "deluxe" tents) with friendly people as well as other travellers. Water was a warm 84F all the way down...

There's lotsa ways... most LDS'es have their own dive club or you can just post up on one of many boards for dive buddies... ask again when you arrive and I'm sure you'll be able to find someone...

I think you have a couple of choices but they are not really all that accessible by transit. Aquarius is probably OK to get to by bus, but I believe they use the Etobicoke pool, which might be hard to get to but its possible. Scuba2000 is up at Highway 7 and Leslie and has a pool on-site but...

I believe waterfront access is also closed this weeked on Centenial beach... you'd have to do BBP...

There will be some divers at humber bay west this weekend... If you wanted to go for a quick dip, this site is ideal for a refresher...

Hopefully these answer some of your questions... You can pretty much dive from late April/May -> October/Nov. Surface temps are not the best but the water is usually above 40F at those times. I think some of the shops do provide suit rentals, you may just have to call them up to find out which...

I have a pair of 7mm gloves that I use for the waters here. When its warmer, I tend not to use them, but I really should as I've been cut but zebra mussels before. 7mm do limit your dexterity so 5mm ones might be what you should look into. You can also try renting some from your LDS to see what...
