Viper Air looses link at 600 PSI

The unit is new. I haven't had anything done to it at all it's exactly as it is out of the box. I bought it from a local dealer about 6 months ago. Should I have the dealer send it in or should I send it in myself.

Viper Air looses link at 600 PSI

I have a new Viper Air that seems to loose the pressure signal consistently at about 600 psi. If it picks up again it sometimes gives unusual high pressure readings. I'm not to concerned because by the time I reach 600 psi I am usually well on my way out of the water. However, If it isn't...

    Geo 2.0 R1d

No, I haven't fixed this yet. I was hoping to find a download cable and try the firmware update. I really don't need to down load the computer so buying a $100 cable to get my $450 computer working is not my favorite idea.

Oceanic Geo 2.0 or Veo 3.0?

I love my Geo 2.0. No battery problems with mine. I really like the fit of the Geo 2.0. It is what really sold me on the Geo, that and a user replaceable battery. I thought it was really easy to learn. Once it is set up you will never have to mess with it except to set the FO2 for nitrox.

    Geo 2.0 R1d

No, I was in nitrox mode with the "NX" displayed. I dove the first two dives with EAN35 the 3rd and 4th dives with EAN30 and the last two with air. The air was set at 21% in NX mode. The log shows these set values in the O2 page, but that is all it shows.

    Geo 2.0 R1d

I just bought a new Geo 2.0. I really love the computer. I logged 6 dives on it and everything but one thing works great. The dive log page that shows the O2 info is missing the %O2 and the max PO2. It only shows the FO2 set for that dive. Is rev 1d a replacement for 1c that so many have...

    Suunto DM4??????

Go ahead and update the look but leave all the features of 3.1 and add what features you see fit, then I will use DM4. I played around in movescount and I have no desire to use it again. I just used the dive planner in 3.1 to calculate my tissue loading and gas usage at the end of a series of...

    Cobra 2 100% vs 50% RGBM setting

I read a blurb from Suunto, I can't remember where, that the 50% setting doesn't change the base algorithm. It only reduces the penalties given when you mess up, like ascend rapidly. If this is true then 50% may not make much difference, if you are doing everything right.

    Suunto DM4??????

I hope Suunto can come up with something to fix this. One of the reasons I bought a Suunto was because the software was better than the others I looked at. I will stick with 3.1 until this is sorted out. I did play with the dive planner portion of the DM4 and that seems a little more user...

Suunto Dive software DM4 to be mac compatible in the fall of 2011

I just posted a similar rant on the Aqualung forum. I sure hope Suunto can do better than DM4.

    Suunto DM4??????

I just downloaded Suunto DM4 and uploaded a few dives. Is there anywhere I can edit or add info about the dive? Dive sight info, buddy, weather, gear used, are nowhere to be found. Nor do I see any place to find help or instruction. At this point I feel like I just downloaded a goofy...

    Regulator Question

I have an SR1 and a Blizzard. I sometimes think I should sell both and get a Maximus and be done with it. I have several friends who have the Maximus and they all love it.

    Wisdom 2 altitude sensor

Sherwood decided to replace my computer. I picked up the new one yesterday and it works great. Thank you to Tom at Sherwood and your willingness to follow through with my problem. I never expected to hear from anyone at Sherwood except a quick post that I should send it back in. To have the...

Sherwood Retractable Compass v. Suunto RK7

I personally like the bezel and lubber line on the Sherwood over the Suunto.

    Vyper air simulator

Good to hear. I have one on order. It looks like the compass screen in the sim was made too large. You can see an edge that extends over the ascent graph and the tank pressure graph so you can't see either one. I played with the Cobra 3 sim and it does the same thing. I'm know it take a...

    Wisdom 2 altitude sensor

I was a little surprised to have the senior sales rep for Sherwood Scuba on my phone the day after I posted my original complaint. This to me is proof positive that Sherwood is serious about resolving customer problems. The computer is on its way back to Sherwood. Apparently it is difficult...

    Blizzard reg question?

The blizzard just plain works. It is tuned for a little harder breathing to ensure no free flow in cold water. However, it is super easy to adjust the second stage down a little bit for warm water and can be tuned back for a cold water a dive. I also really like the extended exhaust port that...

    another recommendation thread (simple unit)

The first computers my wife an I used was the Genesis React Pro. Simple to use and nitrox ready. I really liked the large bar graphs. Only thing I didn't like was that temperature and elapse dive time are on alternate pages requiring you to press a button to see that info while diving. Also...

    Wisdom 2 altitude sensor

Already did. Maybe the post wasn't clear. The dealer said they sent it in to Sherwood and that it checked out. But it is still reading SEA and showing a sea level NDL time even though I am at 4700ft. Also there was no service documentation. All the info she gave me is what she said was told...
