How to view vids on iPad

I have successfully used the GoPro App with an iPad (Gen 3 & iOS 8) and Hero 3. You have the ability to preview the videos and then decide if you want to download them to your iPad using the built-in GoPro WiFi. You can also use as a remote; not sure what the max distance b/w devices is...

Neat way to pack your BP/W?

The best way I have found is using the same method I was taught with military parachutes, aka rigger roll. Start by (1) folding crotch strap up on backplate; (2) crisscross your shoulder straps-pull one through the other so they are laying on the opposite side; (3) take your waist strap and wrap...

    3D printing

I designed a Navboard using AutoCAD 123D (free software) and had it printed using a local printer affiliated with 3D Hubs. It cost me $56.00. I probably should have tried using a CNC for a more durable product. Unfortunately, AutoCAD hadn't released their consumer CNC program yet, and CNC...

    Triathlon wetsuit for diving?

I own triathlon wetsuits (TYR and Ironman), but only use them for tris. The exterior of the trisuits are easily ripped. The general advice for donning is to make sure you trim your fingernails and take care with pulling and tugging. To reduce drag, they are tailored to fit tight (to reduce water...

I have a MacBook Pro with the OS X and SCUBAPRO Tec2g. I use JTrak and download using their silver edition USB (2.0) dongle effortlessly. It does not have as many features as SmartTRAK, but there is more than enough for me. I downloaded it from: JTrak

    Easy-Don Dry Gloves

I had a similar experience. I went to a thinner glove because my drysuit wrist seals felt too tight over the SCUBAPRO glove inserts. But my hands were colder. I'm not trimming my drysuit seals just to accommodate the occasional use of dry gloves. They should make a thicker polypro glove with a...

The glove-seal goes over the dry-suit wrist seal: http://www.scubapro.com/media/296481/easydon_dryglove-_multilanguage.pdf See Pic 4 on page 4. This is the step where you attempt to pull the glove seal flat. It is probably during Step 3 that I can't get the end of the seal to at a place on my...

    Easy-Don Dry Gloves

I have tried a set and agree. I switched the glove liners to a thinner pair made from polypro. I find it easier to get my dry-suit wrist seal to fit over it. Getting the second glove seal to roll on flat is extremely difficult without the dexterity of an ungloved hand. IMHO, the glove seals are...
