NO!!!!....if you want to learn go to a qualified instructor!!.....if you don't feel your instruction you recieved in your OW training or subsequent was good enough...find another instructor.....There are brand new divers posting their "qualified"??? opinions and instruction.

I think there is a perception that deeper is best (at least in diving!). Occasionally going deep is nice if there is something of signifigance to see. I agree that practicing skills and getting more bottom time is better achieved at shallower depths.

Simple answer is go back to your training manual(s). What do they suggest? The two agencies I instruct with both tell you to abort and sit out 24hrs. If you don't believe your training or trust the folks that wrote the course.....why bother taking the course??
I use latex cuffs and neck seals. Work better for me. I have tried the neoprene, leaked for me. Wet gloves and Hoods. Integrated socks and boots to fit over. Agan works for me.
