Sea & Sea YS-110a TTL Strobe

Hello, I have the Sea & Sea YS-11a TTL Strobe. Where the batteries sits, there are these flaps on the inside of the case. It broke. This previously happened on the battery cap, and was easy enough to replace. It also broke on the inside, which is much harder to fix (I imagine impossible)...

You guys and gals are awesome, thank you. We are looking into Cozumel, and will do a ferry to do some Cenote. Cozumel vs Cancun - Whale Sharks, Cenotes, and more

Hello All, My wife and I are going to Mexico in May. We are looking to do some great diving. My level of experience is Master diver, but I haven't been back to Cancun since my very first open water (post training) many years ago. Thinking back the dives in Cancun were a bit lackluster. Back...

    Bigblue TL9 P Canister Light - $800

This item is lightly used and in great condition. I have modified it by adding an additional screw cap to the battery. The reason for this: Say you want to dive without the light, but you don't want to remove the battery from your BCD. You can now put the cap on the battery preventing the...

Big Blue TL-9 Dive Light - Battery Can Screw Cap

Hello All, I have the Big Blue TL-9 Dive light. It's a great light (though really heavy) and the can battery connects to my BCD on the tank straps. This is great. It's easy to reach and out of the way - what more can I ask for? :) Well one more thing!:( When I don't need the light I prefer to...

    Legal liability of dive buddy

I am sure each country, state, and county have their own laws (or not) and it can be extreme to expect someone to know each of these laws but there should be "common sense" involved. As a buddy you should make an effort to help out your buddy (insta-buddy or otherwise) assuming it doesn't put...

    Split fin versus the blade

I have split fins, and so do most of my dive buddies. One of my dive buddies commented that I tend to kick up a lot of silt. They also notice that I am much quicker then most...I have a strong kick. You may have one also and may want to use less muscle in your stride.

    Housing Care Between Dive Trips

I remove the batteries. make sure everything is dry. Store the case (closed) in it's camera bag in a dry environment (it's in my apartment). Some advocate removing the o-rings and keeping them in a plastic bag. I asked the shop where I got my gear and they said it was not necessary.

Bare Dry Gloves & Si Tech Clamps - Used once

Yes. They install on the seals. The blue/yellow/green rings are of different sizes so you can install them on different seal types (thicknesses) I would assume, since they install on seals, they will fit on any drysuit brand - but I am not an expert on dry suits so please don't quote me on that.
