Currenty have a Suunto Vyper. Love the computer, hate the wrist strap. I see that DSS makes bungee wrist mounts for Vypers ... anybody have these and if so, how do they perform?

I use a Suunto Vyper. Love it ... gives me all the functions that I currently need, easy to use and idiot proof. Just put it on your wrist and jump in the water. I also like the Dive Manager function of it so you can download and log all of your dives. Not crazy about the wrist strap...

Mares Avanti Quattro ... simple, bullet proof. This classic fin design adapts easily to multiple kicking styles. Great for wreck diving or photography.

I'm starting to dive more often in the northeast. I'm considering getting the ScubaPro MK2/R295 for my pony bottle. Will that be enough for NE diving conditions, or should I buy a higher end reg (sealed diaphram)?

I'm looking at the XTX50 DS4 setup. I like the DS4 over the DST because there's no rotating turret. It seems that this combo only comes in a DIN connection. Does anyone know if it comes in a yoke connection? I'm trying to avoid the DIN - Yoke adapter to keep the 1st stage from sticking out...

Question for all you A700 users ... Is its weight ever an issue? Seems to be slightly heavier than other regs due to the metal ... can you feel it in your jaw after diving 40 or so minutes?

A response to Mattboy, benchtests show the MK25 to be a better breather. However, just because numbers on paper show one thing, doesn't mean you or I can tell a difference in real life diving.

I have been looking at the XTX200 as well as the AL Legend LX. For some reason, my LDS is pushing the MK25 over the MK17 ... so many choices and opinions, it can make your head spin.

Makes you wonder if all the cold water freezing/free flowing MK25's you hear about are more of a user error by not tuning properly vs. design problem ...

No problems with Scubapro. I'd spend a few extra bucks, though, and upgrade to the Suunto Vyper (you'll get a back light and can download to Suunto Dive Manager, which is a nice tool to track/log dives and analyze them).
