I would take the Underwater Photography Specialty class at my hometown, practice over and over again at a local pool till Nov. Then enjoy your vacation at Curacao having a higher skill set that you got from all that training.

Sounds like a leak to me, hope you did not pay too much for that lens. This is why I like the internal wideangle lens setup. Good Luck

Easier, faster and cheaper to go to Subic from EDSA. Air conditioned Victory Liner @ EDSA goes non stop to Olongapo/Subic, if PG you still need to take a ferry from Batangas. I have not taken this route since the US Navy pulled out of that base, I hear the roads are even better.

This looks like a flat port diopter (close up lense). I would like to see them use the dome port instead because with a flat port, you will lose 25% of your picture angle, which is a lot in U/W videos/photos. One would have to pull the camera away from the subject in order to get the image in...
