I was hoping for something more subtle, and less time consuming that I could use before I pay for it. Whipping out my cellphone and calling Liquivision to check it out might seem a bit excessive from the side. Since you said this, does it mean the words: "ceramic sensor" don't appear anywhere...

I want to get a Liquivision X1 from a local dive shop that happens to be a distributor, and I was wondering how I could tell if it is the new X1 with ceramic sensors that I am getting, or the older version with silicone filled sensors?

Are the boots for this suit out yet? I have tried to get a pair but no place seems to have them in stock. I found some stores that have them displayed on their site, but they don't actually have them in stock.

Are the images as high quality in the book as the ones you posted? Or are they on cheap paper?

Thanks for the info. The battery situation is a bit up in the air at this moment it would seem. It is a big concern for a buyer. Most of the sites that seem to have these batteries are from China and seem quite shady. I really hope Liquivision puts some priority getting the batteries in, there...

What is the price of the battery and when will it be available from Liquivision? So far I haven't seen any mention about the battery on the Liquivision website or any of the websites that sell the unit.
