I second Lost Island Voyages. My wife & I have been on 4 of their trips on the Avalon. Very good crew, great locations. Blackbeard boat shadowed us one trip (they had compressor issues & we helped them out)

Thanks Jim, I just ordered a wrist cuff repair kit with the dry tape seal from them. The YouTube video from them makes it look fairly simple to install. I'll update once I get them put on, or take pictures of the install.

Can somebody recommend a source for dry suit cuffs in the U.S.? I am going to replace the cuffs on my Viking drysuit. I am looking for the heavier duty bottle type cuffs. I will also need the fabric tape too. I have the aquaseal, so the haz mat shipping is not a problem. Thanks for the help!

Look at the Avalon, much more comfortable, goes to the same places, the owner Ray built the Blackbeard boats. Www.lostislandvoyages.com Blackbeards are great for single, college kids, I personally like more elbow room.

Another vote for Triptone... Doesn't make me drowsy or dehydrated. Start taking a couple of days before you hit the boat, let it get to therapeutic level.

So they can sell more books... I started my DiveCon last year and they wouldn't grandfather me in, now I have had to buy more books and take more tests.. a real pain in the posterior.

Yes RJP, I do have a miflex LP hose on my safe second, and I like it. I think the smaller dia of the HP would eliminate any jaw fatigue from hose pull. Right now my primary is a Micron with the braided hose that came with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does Miflex make a small diameter hose for a reg? I have a Miflex HP hose and love it. I would love a more flexible hose for my primary.
