or just make 2 loops out of bungee ont he bottom holes on your backplate, roll the liftbag up and store it there...easy to get at, and is out of the way..
agreed..i was questioing buying the DC thinsulate undergarments, they are expensive..but the first dive i did in them where my drysuit leaked took care of that...perfectly warm in 47F water...
din vales have a male connection on the first stage that screws into the valve on the tank. It is a more secure fitting, and used to be neccesary for high pressure tanks. Yoke fittings can be knocked off the tank if you hit them hard enough. you need an adapter or convert your first stage to...
i have the dc thinsulate stretch extreme and love it...had it down to mid 40's and was warm...
don't skimp on the undergarments, your drysuit is useless without good undergarments
you can always get a plate from fredt or hammerhaed and get a pioneer wing then. the plates are standard to mate with any wing. You might save a few bucks that way
love my big eyes, on my second..smashed the first with the trunk of my car, have tried others, but none works as well as the big eyes...if the straps are very loose it leaks...otherwise its fine..
if you're competent in doubles, you have a redundant supply, so less reliance on a buddy that may not be up to the task...

1) remember you have to pack this stuff and travel with it, lighter may be better
