    Blood pressure when diving

Your heart rate slows when you are in the water as part of the mammalian response to move body heat to your core. As a result, the blood pressure should decrease as well. This will change from diver to diver but I wouldn't be surprised if one day at dema someone came out with a dive computer...

Panama City/St Andrews Saturday, March 1st Condition Report?

Still below. I tried to dive it this past Wednesday and the water was tannic with 5ft of vis at best less than a foot at worse. The top 10 ft was 61 degrees so deeper it's probably 58 to 60. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    pensacola

The reports from the gulf sites, in the 80 to 100 ft depth range, have temps in the mid 60s. The marine weather is usually unpredictable this time of year so trips are rare. I would check with Niuhi dive charters and the scuba shack for trips. The shore sites have had temps in the low 50s with...

    P'cola Beach/Ft. Pickens

The current can get pretty kicking at times, usually when there is more water moving through. There are plenty of rocks to hold onto, usually if you catch the tide right it's not that bad.

    Can't get Vertical

Welcome to the first taste of this addictive sport! Before you try ankle weights, ask about a different pair of fins that are heavier. If your properly weighted and still having trouble with getting horizontal the heavier fins should do the trick. Good luck.

My indepth review of the Hollis NeoTek Semi-Dry

I was considering a semi dry. I've heard of some people installing a p valve in them. Mostly because the water exchange isn't very much so you don't want to pee in it like a wet suit. Has anyone tried that with this one? How much, if any, squeeze do you get at depth? I read a customer review...

My wife has a problems with leaking masks...

Along with the mask maybe being a little too tight, she might also be biting down on the mouthpiece a little too hard which will let water in around the nose and mouth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Perdido pass or whiskey in Oct. 13-17

The whiskey wreck would be a great idea for the 12th. The surf report that day is flat, all day, and with the recent tropical storm that moved through, there might be more of the wreck uncovered.
