suggest your favorite dive destination...help me out!

Grand Cayman. 365 dive sites and a few great operators (best I've ever been diving with). I'm going back to Grand Cayman for my 40th just because I want to dive with this one dive outfit there -- living the dream divers. They have a great dive boat that could easily carry 20 divers but the...

Any benefit to Master Scuba Diver certification?

Thank you all for your input. Yes - I am PADI certified and was considering the PADI course. However, I'm not interested in taking a course just for the benefit of carrying another CCard. It sounds like the better choice if I want to enhance my skills is to look towards a cave diving or more...

Dive Trips for Noobs: Where to go to build experience....

You've got a number of options but if you're really focusing in on diving, I highly recommend Grand Cayman. There are 365 dive sites and some great operators. I have now been twice and both times, I dove with an outfit called "Living the Dream Divers". By far the best dive experience I have...

    Maui depths

I've also done St. Anthony wreck by Kayak. It's about a 30 minute kayak from Wailea. Reached max. depth of 70 feet. There are some good shore dives at lesser depths that can be reached by scooter (e.g. Mackena point)

    Hiya and what up!!!

Welcome. I just got back from a trip to Hawaii. Did five dives in Maui (all shore dives). You're absolutely right -- great place to dive. It also helps if you have a DPV. You can cover tons more ground.
