The reg hose passes on the right . so what I meant is that a bulky wrist computer could easily catch your hose while you extend your arm. I view it as an unnecessary hassle so why not just leave the computer on the left Of course it only applies if it's real bulky .
I use a console although if I did use a watch and it was BULKY, I would put it on the left side so that it doesn't accidentally pull on my reg hose....

I don't think this has been mentioned yet... I think the exit is just as important as the entry, Be sure to keep away from the person that's entering the boat in case they fall back, you don't want to hit your face on a tank....
The OP says the computer gave him that bottom time for the second dive only....
Did you hang out for 30 min at the surface before going down? Next time just keep an eye on your computer.... it shouldn't start counting before 5 feet or so but maybe something is wrong with the depth meter...
