I agree with Victor....the modified SMS-100 is more than capable of diving a single tank. If that, however, is your primary means of diving, it really doesn't make since to get the mods done...especially since you have little interest at this point in doing much diving in overhead environments...

I have the Edd 'mods' done to my SMS-100. Completely changes the way this rig reacts under water.....ALL POSITIVE. The biggest change you'll see is how much easier it is to trim out. But it's not just the old school bungee system that makes the modifications work well. Cave Adventurers also...

I dive the SMS-100 in sidemount configuration using 2 HP100's as my mains. When I add deco into the mix, I mount my 50% (AL 40 cu ft) under my left main, and another (if required) 100% (AL 40 cu ft) under my right main.

Is this accurate? The Hollis site specifies a 'Delrin canister body with aluminum head'. The DGX site specifies the 25w LED as having a 'New Delrin canister body and new Delrin head'. Uhm...ok. Any idea which it is?
