Yep price increase has put it over the top.... I just don't see the ROI here. The manufacturers have been doing a good job of getting all the info I need from their web sites and sales people no need to spend the travel money...
I just received the email that DEMA registration was open. I was going to register but I noticed that non member for exhibits only is now $150 .......I think that's over double of last years. Can anybody confirm that?

Where are you ? San Diego? I have a friend in FL who has a Rix that would cost you about half that price and it runs. You could put them both together and have one good unit with some spare parts.

I am not sure where you are trying to head with this. But I would be willing to bet that more AAUS trained divers have died on dives VS DIR trained divers. So what is your point about different training methods and procedures? Some work others don't? Yours is better than theirs? How do we...
Can anyone give me some ideas why the USA doesn't support dive shows? Think about it....The London and Birmingham shows probably draw 20-30,000 people each, the Boot show probably draws 80,000. Florida Dive Show in the heart of US dive country might draw 3,000. DEMA only gets about 6000...
