    Question SCUBA, the self-policing industry

To golf at the club we were members at I had to earn a "bag tag" which included a written test on the rules of golf, and to play supervised rounds of golf demonstrating my comprehension and displaying course/golf etiquette.... Could you imagine having golf police???

Do you still carry quarters (was going to say dimes) for payphones if your cellphone suddenly doesn't work? :stirpot: My diving history predates a lot of current innovation..... Embrace it... It isn't evil (Says the guy who dives double hose regs - LOL)

    AI computer for new diver

Bottom line is she needs to be able to monitor air pressure. Be it a gauge on a hose, or with a transmitter/computer, it achieves the requirement. There is no bmp deciding which of those is "okay for a novice."

    Question SCUBA, the self-policing industry

When the jury awards the moron's family a monetary reward that bankrupts the business, or causes the premiums to skyrocket, or get dropped for coverage, and they go out of business (may their negligence is a reason they shouldn't be conducting business), that impacts other divers..

    Question SCUBA, the self-policing industry

Shop fills your tank(s), you die, they are getting dragged into a wrongful death litigation. Maybe it gets overturned, but the cost of defending it is plenty. Same for a charter boat. Same for a private boat owner. What we need is Torte Reform, not SCUBA Regulatory Oversight....

    Advice on Scubapro regs: Mk25 EVO/D420 vs MK19 EVO/ D420

I'd be leaning toward the 19 over the 25 as the sealed diaphragm is a little more resilient to post dive rinse laxness. As to the second, IIRC, the 420 is already on the path for being discontinued... It is "odd" enough that servicing may be somewhat problematic. I'd select a G260 over a...

What's the craziest thing you ever found?

The "odd" thing about my find is that it was a brass box that would be bolted into a wall or "monument" with others. Someone removed it ant threw it in the river. We traced the name in the death notices, and they resided a distance south of here (45 min drive). Wery strange...
