Just my .02 and its worth what you paid for it.
I never use a weight belt and i rig for a right hand release because my stages or deco gas pretty much make my left arm usless for this. This might not be a factor now in your diving but it sounds like it will be soon and why change later...
Some of my best dives have been in less that 30' of water with my little brother along.
As far as comfort goes i am fine with whatever, the logistical part of the dive is what
i like but i have to have a reason and my reason is usually a true wreck or a war related sinking. My favorite wreck...
Look up Florida Keys Reef diving with Capt Jim Wyatt he is on this board.
He can take care of your diving needs for the Wilkes Barre.
You cant go to the keys and not do the Wilkes, I believe there is some kind
of law against it.... ;)
Just dove it 2 weeks ago and man was that cool...
I believe that the depth is just a logistical part of the dive plan.
I have been diving South Fl. my whole life and was running out of "true" wreck's
to dive so i had to venture deeper. I get in the water only to see true wrecks
or war ship's sunk for research or during a war. I think it is...

Great report...!!!!!
The Hydro is one of my favorite wrecks over there.
I dive with SFDH all the time when i go East.
There new "small boat" looks great.
Flannigans for tuna steak after is the main reason i drive over to that side of the state.
If you ever need another diver for any of...

now it is time to travel to get some more training. To me cavern was one of the best
classes i...
Great report...!!!!
I was down also, we got out to some of the Ghost Fleet wrecks out of KW
and the vis. was 80' plus on those wrecks as well.
Glad you had a great time.
Mike M.
I think you are good to go either way, i have been doing the wrecks for years over there and still have many to do. I usually go with South florida diving headquaters on there small boat or with Reef Cat or with Avid diver charters. Also a quick trip south is always good.
Have fun
Mike M.
Trip report.
Made it to the Kendrick on saturday the vis was 70' plus on the wreck 100' plus in the midwater. Surface temp was in the mid 80's and the bottom temp was 60 burrrrrr.

I was just on the T-Bolt last month and if you find a DR-real with about 150' of line reeled off wind it up and consider it your B-day present..!!! I found a better way out.
I will be on the Ghost Fleet this weekend in the keys and will report on the water temps. and conditions monday.
Mike.
