Dove at San Miguel Island last Sunday. Water temps were in the low 50s.

I have a DS-125 that the plastic tabs the lock the Battery to the Stobe have broken. Do I need to send the whole unit back or can I just order a replacement shell?

I just received a letter from the Avalon Station Sheriff's Department. The letter stats the reason for the Star Dive being postponned until next year is due to personnal and Economical difficulties. The Dive is schuduled for July 16, 2011

It is a bummer that this event was cancelled this year. I guess I will just have to suffer and do a couple of extra fun dives at the point on this weekend.

I was looking at my calendar trying to put is for time off this year when I realized that I had not registered for the Catalina Gold Star Dive. So I went to their page and there is was The Gold Star Dive has been canceled for the 2010 season. Anyone know why this got cancelled this year...

I was there Sunday and did only 1 dive since Viz was only abot 10 feet and the water was a cool 58 my buddy and I decided to pack up the gear and just walk around and enjoy Avalon.

Thanks Dr. Bill, I will be there on Sunday to try to sneak in a few dives.

Does anyone know what the conditions at the Dive Park have been like this week?

Thanks for the quick reply. I kind of figured that but was hoping to be able to upgrade Camera without having to replace the housing as well.

Currently my DX-300D housing is out being serviced and I am wondering if any of the newer Canon Digital Rebel Cameras will work in this older housing. Or did Canon chage the position of too many of the buttons on the camera? Thanks

I have to agree Ikelite has Great Service. I to flooded one of my Stobes on a recent trip which I had purchased about 3yrs ago and is now discontined. I received emails when it was received by Ikelite and after they had evaluated it. Since it was out of warrenty I had to pay for service...

How was the tirp? I was hoping to get out of work and get on this trip. unfortunaly I was not able to so I have to live through the dive reports of others.
