I highly recommend Kaimana Divers. Where you dive always depends on conditions / currents, etc. Kaimana has been my dive shop for over 3 years. Book early, because it's getting hard to get a spot on the boat! They are that busy!

Agree that Petrel is the way to go. Fully Trimix compatable and can integrate with most rebreather's if you go that route. You won't find better customer service anywhere!

We have so far dodged the bullet on a lot of these storms. I just hope and pray that it keeps on a north or northwest track as the most severe winds will be on the northeast side of the storm. The cooler water near Hawaii usually tends to destabilize a lot of these storms and the Kona winds tend...

A very sad event here in Oahu! A lot of unanswered questions as to how this happened.

There are several grades of stainless steel. Stainless 304 will certainly rust over time. Stainless 316 is a better grade and is more resistant to rust. All stainless plate looks dull from the mill as it has what is called Mil-scale. bead blasting and polishing gives you that mirror shine.

It's erosion from salt not being rinsed off after diving salt water. Salt and aluminum do not get along.

I also have nothing but great experiences with Amazon.

The Sealife cameras have limited options. I have the Sealife 1200 and switched to a Cannon G16 for more flexibility.
