dude you dont do a disservice to yourself and go to Palau with a non-diving spouse. unless that is the only way you are going to be able to go there is with her. i am telling you, and the others on here will too, you are going to want to dive everyday because it is that good. your wife is going...

borax i dont understand your question "you want to do a shark dive with an operator that doesnt chum/bait the water"? what do you want them to use to attract the sharks?

i agree with boulderjohn. i would plan on doing boat dives and if someone or a group invites you along for some shore diving so be it.

just my 2c. chill out. you are having delusions of grandeur. go with an open mind and dont try to force it. if you arent even certified and have only snorkeled any scuba diving anywhere should blow your mind. i felt the same way as you when i first started diving. i wanted to go to the best...

nice damage control done by the resort owner. its all hearsay but it swayed everyone on here to be on his side. kudos!
