    jm cousteau data scan 2

Hi, welcome to SB! You'll need to post a few more posts (5, I think), then upload a picture of it. Then we'll see if we can't help you out. Without a pic, it's hard to give specific advice, other than "probably need to change the battery". ;)

    Citizen Aqualand problem

Hi bjorn, Welcome to SB! I have the exact same watch. Your best bet (apart from getting it looked at by an authorized repair facility) is to give it some time. Give it at least 3 or 4 days in a low-humidity environment (to aid in the drying), then leave it in the sun as much as possible...

Opening up an older bottom timer to get it working (pic)

Hey scubasteve65, Thanks to some google cache scrounging a few years back, I pulled some addtional info off the site. Everything isn't completely converted to English, but it will give you some more info than what is currently on the site. I have attached the file (which includes everything...

    Sherwood dump valve leak

Here's a shot for you: Most of the dump valves on a bc work via spring pressure. Thus, when you get one that's been sitting for awhile, the rubber seats (discs) will have impressions on them from the seating surface. One youtake them apart, it's a real pain to get back in a position where...

Opening up an older bottom timer to get it working (pic)

Knowone, I bet he doesn't read Czech, thus, he can use this link to get to the instructions for changing the battery in a digital depth guage. :D

    65 years of diving

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the article! Like most things, if we don't know our history, we not only lose part of the inspiration, we also lose the ability to gain a greater depth of knowledge and understanding that only comes from standing on the shoulders of giants. Thanks Sam!

Check out my new adopted kids.

Excellent job!!! Also, great job on the DIY method for the teflon, I'll have to remember that one since I get so much other stuff from McMC.

    Difference between G200B and G250?

Also, if you're using a G200B for as a 2nd, you're second will breathe better than almost every rental rig out there. We had one Mk10/G200B in the ScubaJackets rental gear when I was at GT. It was far and away the most desired setup for almost everyone who used the gear since it was such a...

Scuba tank failed visual. Was I was sold a lemon?

Always get a 2nd opinion on a tank visual that "fails". There could be a large pit that was missed by the previous dive shop (in which case I would be talking to them about making amends), but you never know until you've confirmed. Also, it's always a good idea for you to get the dive shop...

    I need a 109 seat.

Sorry for being so late to this party! ZKY, I have not personally cut and reglued poppet parts onto the poppet in your first post. However, I have in my possession poppets where that has been done. I think it's possible to do (the regs breathed fine with this method), but if you can get a...

Vintage Scubapro Mk2/108 reg set with Sea-Vue SPG/capillary depth gauge (3500psi)

Hi JoeT, Just my 2 cents, but it seems a tad high for what you have. If your second stage was a 109, then you'd be in the ballpark (at least from typical e-bay auctions). All the best!

    Scubapro Air2 installation

A little late chiming in, but instead of tying a know in the cable, just double loop the end of the cable around the pin. All the benefits of a shorter cable, none of the drawbacks to a knot. :)
