Here ya go!
Freezing, same as the air. We dive in the rain since the campfire fizzles out. Probably gonna be good until you get in :D
Nag, nag, nag :eyebrow:
Look! Fresh meat!;)
This one seems smarter than some of the others:popcorn:

I dove with my instructor regularly for years. She ended up inviting me to buddy with her on a trip where I ended up meeting my future husband. I slowly drifted into having him as my regular buddy. When his diving slowed and mine was ramping up as I became an instructor the majority of...
5'5", 130 pounds
Trilam drysuit with heavy undies an AL tank 28 pounds. Hubby outweighs me by 100 pounds and wears 24 pounds dry. Did I mention my undies are really heavy ;)
5mm wetsuit with AL tank, 14 pounds.

Oh wow I hadn't heard of the boat fire. We did a Bermuda cruise in 2008 and loved diving with him. We rented gear, something I've never done and heard horror stories about. The gear was in really good shape, I would rent from him any time and save myself the hassle of carrying my gear on...
Wanna go to the UP of Michigan sweetie? :D oh and wanna pack all my stuff ;)
Actually I don't mind packing, its unpacking and putting stuff away I hate. I still have 1 bag from our August 2009 cruise that needs unpacked. Ugh.

We invaded a Catalina Scubaboard gathering a few years ago. The diving out there is great but its a long flight from Ohio and we have all the extra cold water diving baggage. Bleh.
We went in November so the water was still warm. Yea, Catalina is warm water in my book LOL!

Dove on a boat that had a winch instead of a ladder. Winch takes your gear and slowly swings it over your head as you hang on to swim platform and wait to boost yourself up after slow, very slow winch gets your gear clear. Took 15 minutes to get 4 divers out of cold water (Lake Huron) during...
I picked the choice closest to my reason. Its not the price of airfare but the hassle of flying that turns me off. We have our annual vacation coming up in August and for the first time ever we have no plans. We did cruises the last 2 years instead of diving vacations though we did a couple...
My instructor is on a trip with a group to Jupiter Florida. One of the guys had been watching someone posting on here about the things they are seeing in the area. I haven't seen the thread but there was mention of Mantas and Whale Sharks. Apparently the oil is driving wildlife up the coast...
I had that max depth at 76 feet :) I am amazed it actually dried out to fully functional. All hail the mighty moisture muncher! For that matter I can't believe the moisture muncher didn't fall out odf the case when the camera did. Folks this was not a simple flooded camera. He got my attention...
Once I get a chance to post from a computer instead of my phone I will get some pics up. Some of them came out pretty decent. Another diver in our group got a great shot of my buddy with his camera dangling from his wrist and his housing in his hand. The confused looks were funny :D
While...
Tha Ra jine uh LOL! Still snickering about that one.
Well I did it, I actually had a good dive on her even though my buddy's camera housing opened and his camera fell out before we got to the wreck. Nothing like being nervous at the beginning of the dive and having to run a search pattern...
The car is packed and its almost bedtime. Tomorrow morning we caravan to Four Fathoms for the afternoon charter! We will also dive the morning charter Sunday before heading home.
This trip was for my advanced class to get to dive the wrecks. I also have a couple of the master diver students...
Speaking up can be done tactfully in a concerned manner. Anyone in my group from DM to OW diver getting their cert is welcome to pull me aside and express any concerns they have. I have had an OW diver on their cert dive express doubts about a classmates ability as an independent diver. The...
Like the others I will go a little deeper if there is something worth seeing. We tend to look for vacation spots with wrecks in the 60 to 80 foot range. That gives us a nice balance of deep enough for the wrecks to be relatively intact but shallow enough for good bottom time. When I travel to...
