I just finished up my SDI dive master a few months ago. I have been working at my LDS. I want to become a instructor but I have a question. Is it true that as a SDI instructor you have to be affiliated with a dive shop in order to teach or can I freelance and teach on my own.

I live in phoenix and travil to San Diego to dive. On the drive home there is mountain that is about 4500 ft. This past weekend i dove 3 deep wreck dives, between 95 and 68 ft. We ended up going a different way home with less elivation change. How long before it is safe to drive over?

I'am planning a trip in january to dive the Yucon and Rubi. The next morning we are planning to dive at the cove. I want to know if there is a way to dive the cove, I had planed to swim out to the bouy or in that direction and scuba back. Is there better ways to go? Any inside info? Thaks, Kris

They sell them new for 249 and I can get a rental for 189. But after reading this I'am going to spend the extra money and get a new one.

How long do wetsuits last? I have the opertunity to buy a rental 7mm from my local dive shop for about 50 dollars less then new. He said they all have one season or less on them. They are the Akona Quantum streach brand, fits me real nice. What do you think?
