Never seen, but hummin sidescanner seems to do miracles in resolution and object identification.

For having a 23' yamaha with 85 HP yam (30 knots), Panga style, I can tell you this:
Do not ride with piles unless you get the meat mashed for the hamburger. Does not cut any wave but broaches the next one.....
But much more stable on rolling because of its about zero deadrise. And I still love...
February is around chinese new year (tet), which means all fully booked (hotels, flights,..), plus it is the least interresting season for diving in Nha Trang. You should have a look at Phu Quoc Island where season is almost reversed.
Sorry, I cannot edit my post, but after converting your 35mph into metric speed (56 km/h), I get a different understanding of your speed.
I think this is a very good speed for such a set up (23' with 90 hp). And I do not think you can get significantly better performances.... congrats.
Saw your boat. Getting a shorter prop pitch will help you gaining speed (engine shall reach max rpm). Moving petrol tanks in the back might also help. Triming up as well.
But 35mph that is already enough to knock the bud.
You would need a platform to help diving.
wow full teak, that is a jewel. Even the outside being teak does not make it an emergency to fix. Spent more time looking at the pics, fantastic. Any idea where it has been build? If you like teak work, have a look on my link in my signature
If you want to have an idea for the power needed versus speed, make a search for the Crouch formula. Approximate infos but usefull. It went very accurate on my boat. On heavy boats with smaller engine, you will need to reduce the pitch of the propeller as well, unless you are heading...
Thanks Lairdb, very detailed infos. In deed, the shop is on your list. This is then what Citizen garanties and recommends me. Quite poor. We would expect a certain level wouldn't we?
Very embarrassing when having a new battery, and couple of weeks later you dive and your watch gets wrong...
Thanks for the input!
Well, it is a ... I don't know. There is an analog screen with 2 digital screens inside "Promaster". Is it called dual watch?. The thing is that you screw the cover, so I guess it would be better lubricated, as it would ease gliding of the cover on the ring. The thing is...
Hi All,
I've got a Citizen diver watch. At the local Citizen repair shop, they never grease the rubber seal. They say they will just replace it when it is too hard.
So, questions:
+Should I wait it gets wet inside and trust them?
+Is it normal not to grease and just replace if needed...
Yep Henry, I have the same pain than you when I read myself. I will get them inspected and rifilled. Actually, the risk of problem is very low, as Tanks are almost brand new.
Feel released!
